A boxy, quilted jacket cut from a reproduction of an antique hand-tie bedspread in black with red and white tie details throughout. Hand-tie quilts were made by using a sewn-in knot to quickly secure multiple layers of fabric to affix the internal batting.  Two patch pockets at waist, single breast pocket with double button closure at the left side. Fully lined in cotton muslin, horn buttons.
